"COMBOS"
A class that blends technique and training with choreography. Students are introduced to multiple dance styles, including Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, and Lyrical, while learning movement combinations that build coordination, musicality, and expressive performance.

HIP HOP
A broad category of street dance styles performed to hip hop music, characterized by rhythmic grooves, bounces, rocks, and freestyle expression. Originating in African American and Latino communities in 1970s New York, it developed alongside hip hop culture and emphasizes individuality, improvisation, and connection to music and community.

TAP
Wearing shoes fitted with metal taps, characterized by rhythmic tapping of the toes and heels to create percussive sounds. It emphasizes timing, musicality, and intricate footwork, often treating the dancer’s feet as a rhythmic instrument.

ACRO
A genre that combines classical dance techniques, such as ballet, jazz, or modern, with precise and fluid acrobatic elements to create a seamless fusion of dance and athleticism. Students will learn tricks, tumblings, and other advance skills to incorporate with other styles.

BALLET
A highly technical and stylized theatrical dance form characterized by formalized steps and precise movements. Originating in the 15th-century Italian Renaissance courts and later flourishing in France, ballet uses movement, music, and stage design to express emotion, narrative, and atmosphere.

HEELS
A dance style performed in high-heeled shoes that combines techniques from jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, and burlesque, emphasizing confidence, precision, and expressive, sensual movement.

We classify skills and ranks as beginner, intermediate, and advanced.
Our more involved and/or competitive dancers are invited to higher-level placement classes.
